Welcome comrades to the Quartermaster Section blog, a place where we hope to get everyone who has an interest in World War history to come together and share their stories, tactics, weaponry information and reviews. We will be writing our own articles and invite you all to contribute also.

What is a Blog Post?

Its really simple. A blog post is just another name for an article and we want to share the best World War articles with you, our readers. Additionally we want you to contribute also.

What can you expect from the blog?

When it comes to the World War we have an obsession about the people, the locations, the tactics and of course the weaponry and vehicles that were used. Seeing as you’re here to, we bet you’re the same. That’s why we’re hoping to share the following:

Stories – Both World Wars are full of great stories of heroism, deception, betrayal, espionage and bravery. Both sides, good and bad have a rich history of these stories and the people that made them and we want to share them here.

Weapons, Vehicles & Tactics – There are so many famous battles which have etched there place in the history books and we are going to write about them here. If you have any of the weapons yourself, why not share photos of them and how you came across them with our readers.

Locations – Where the battles were fought are just as important. The buildings, the terrain and the weather all had huge impacts on the many battles of the war. Have you visited a battleground location recently? Normandy or Auschwitz? Then share your pictures here and how it made you feel.

Reviews – From time to time, we will review books, games or DVDs. Yes some of these will contain affiliate links to help us with our running costs of the site.

News – From time to time the news will cover all sorts of items related to the war. Whether that’s a newly found weapon or buried bomb, a Veteran who has a story to tell or sometimes the unfortunate event of a vandalism of a war memorial. If its in the news, we’ll cover it.

And that’s it. We hope you will join us in making this the best World War blog on the internet.
