Czechoslovakian Infantry Weapons

The Czech infantry were issued locally designed and built weapons. Officers were issued the CZ Vz.24 pistol while the infantry were equipped with the ZB Vz.24 rifle. There was a sub-machine gun available known as the ZK 383 but this was only issued in small number. The standard squad light machine gun was the LK Vz.26. The Schwartzlose heavy machine guns still available in large number and was supplemented by the modern TK Vz.37. The standard medium mortar was the 81mm Minomet Vz.36, with the vintage Minomet Vz.17 still in use with reserve units.
