Russian AFVs

Russian tanks included light tanks, amphibious tanks, medium tanks, heavy and super heavy tanks. Early models were light and highly mobile but lacked radios and were manned by poorly trained crews. After 1941 the Russians developed some of the best tanks ever to see action in World War Two. The Russians developed few armoured cars, preferring to use like tanks in the role, but two main designs were produced and these were the BA-10 and BA-64. The Soviets built a family of assault guns and tank destroyers with armaments ranging from light 76mm guns to 152mm heavy howitzers.
