Notes | The first in the line of Medium Tanks was the M2, this was a bigger version of the M2 Light Tank which gave it a large silhouette. The Turret featured sloping armour and its main armament was the 37mm M3 Gun. It could carry up to nine Machine Guns and the two rear fenders had bullet deflector plates installed which allowed the rear mounted machine guns to fire down into enemy trenches as the vehicle passed over them. Once the new M3 reached full production the M2 was relegated to a training vehicle. |
