Polish AFVs

Polish armoured forces used Britain for the bases for most of its armour. These included the light tankettes which were mainly armed with machine guns. Their light tanks were bought from Vickers and these were all the six ton class of vehicle which were armed with either machine guns or 47mm guns. The Polish adapted the Vickers chassis and designed the 7TP JW which was the best Polish tank to see service. The Poles also made good use of armoured cars and early models were based on French designs.
