Polish Armoured Cars

The Polish use of armoured cars started with the manufacture of seventeen Ford TFCs in 1940 and then the purchase of eighteen Peugeot vehicles from France in the same year. These early vehicles were used throughout the 1920s until the development of more modern designs became available in later in the decade. Polish armoured cars fought well in 1939 and as well as reconnaissance work, even managed in some cases to delay the German advance.
