Japanese AFVs
The Japanese regarded their tanks as infantry support weapons and were mainly used when infantry assaults had stalled. Japanese tanks came in three classes, tankettes, light and medium. These tankettes were totally outclassed by allied designs. Japanese armour could not match the quality of allied tanks either in armour or firepower. Most IJA tanks had one man turrets which gave the commander too much responsibility and were weakly armed in both gun and armour.
