Japanese Amphibious Tanks
The IJN took on development of amphibious tanks after the IJA lost interest. The Navy wanted an amphibious tank unit to support their Special Naval Landing Forces. The first models were issued 1942 and came too late to be used in the role they were designed for. Many were then used to defend various locations against allied attacks.
