NotesFire support version of the LVT-4 mounting a similar turret from used on the M8 HMC. It carried the 75mm M8 howitzer and some versions had a flame-thrower installed in place of the 75mm. it had a .50 cal HMC installed on the turret top. Its cargo hold was covered by armour to provide overhead protection. The LVT-A4 saw action along with the LVT-4 at Saipan.
