| Notes | Standard Medium AA Gun before the introduction of the 90mm, the M3 served mainly as a static gun protecting bases and coastal installations from air attack. It had a similar carriage to the M1 40mm with folding sections comprising the gun platform. It served with the army and marines and was replaced by the more modern 90mm. |
