Notes | The Canon de 155 L Modele 1924 was a heavy gun which was a combination of old and new. It was built in Belgian and the guns were mounted on carriages taken from obsolete Krupp M.1909 guns. The German army had previously modernised these weapons in world war one and up-graded them for motorised traction. The modele 1924 had to be separated into two parts for traction and these were issued to heavy regiments at army level. |
