Notes | The M20 was a light machine gun which was first designed in the USA by Colonel Isaac Lewis. It was adopted by the Dutch army in 1920 as their main light machine gun. It was heavy and had a large pan magazine which suffered with effects from dust and dirt in the field. Despite its problems in was the standard light machine gun of both infantry and cavalry formations. |
