NotesThe Jadgpanzer IV was designed in an attempt to find a vehicle to try and replace the StuG III. The chassis chosen was from the Panzer Mk. IV but had modified front which had sloped armoured plates which joined to form a sharp point. It had thick armour and mounted the 75mm PaK 39 gun. A machine gun was added to the hull front as were a couple machine gun ports. The Jadgpanzer IV saw action in Italy, France and the eastern front.
