Notes | The Panzer IV/70 (V) was an up-gunned and up-armoured version of the Jadgpanzer IV. The gun was the long barrelled 75mm PaK 42 and the frontal armour was increased to 80mm. This modifications caused problems, especially due to the extra weight and this resulted in the front two road wheels on each side being replaced with steel rimmed versions. The Panzer IV/70 (V) saw service on both western and eastern fronts until the wars end. |
