VariantsSd.Kfz 221 mit 2.8cm: 1 x 28mm sPzB 41 Gun added on later models.
NotesThe 221 was the first in a line of German light 4x4 armoured cars. It was armed with a single MG34 though later versions carried a 28mm sPzB 41. It carried a crew of two and served in a reconnaissance role until replaced as a frontline vehicle by new heavier models. Late in the war the 221 continued in service mainly in secondary theatres.
