Notes | The eight wheeled 231 was the most numerous German heavy armoured car of the war. It had similar rear steering wheel found in earlier six wheeled models and a 20mm KwK 30 or 38 in a fully revolving turret. It combined armour, speed and good cross country capabilities and saw action on every front from 1939 to 1945. |
