Notes | The 234/1 was one of new the new eight wheeled models designed to replace the Sd.Kfz 231. It was armed with a 20mm KwK 38 gun and coaxial MG34 or MG42 in a similar turret to the Sd.Kfz 222. It was also fitted with two radios. It was first issued to reconnaissance battalions in 1944 and served on eastern and western fronts. |
