NotesThe Panzer Mk. III Ausf F was identical to the Ausf E and any changes were small, they included new armoured air intakes to provide better cooling to the steering and brakes and the engine was also modified. The Ausf F was initially armed with the 37mm KwK 36 gun, but around a hundred were built mounting the new 50mm KwK 38. This was followed by existing models being up-gunned to 50mm.
