NotesThe Panzer Mk. IV Ausf F was again up-armoured which increased the weight vehicle. This was addressed by adding wider tracks and modifying the sprocket and idler wheels. Initially the was still the low velocity 75mm KwK 37 but orders were received to re-arm with the improved 75mm KwK 40 and this change was to take place with the Ausf G, but due to the situation on the Russian front the decision was made to up gun the Ausf F. The Ausf F was used to replace the losses suffered in both Russia and North Africa.
