NotesPanther Mk V Ausf G had a redesigned hull which had better armour and sloped to 30° give better protection. It also contained armoured bins for ammunition storage and had improvements made to the drive chain. Later models had the shot trap eliminated from beneath the Turret front. The Ausf G was produced in larger numbers then the Ausf D and A, and served on both the eastern and western fronts until the wars end.
