NotesThe sPzB 41 was a taper-bore (or squeeze-bore) weapon which fired a tungsten round at high velocity. It could penetrate over 50mm of armour at 500m, which was good for a gun of such small calibre. It could be used either as a ground fired weapon or mounted on a vehicle. It was used on virtually every front until the supplies of tungsten began to run out, then it was gradually withdrawn from use.
