Notes | The FK 16 nA was a modified version of the vintage 77mm FK 16 field gun. After World War One the German army still had large stocks of 77mm FK 16s, so it made sense to make use of them. The barrel was altered to accept 75mm rounds but the old style wheels only allowed for traction by horse. They initially served in cavalry units but because of their weight they were mainly used for training or issued to reserve units. |
