NotesIn 1942 the German high command ordered the conversion of a number of Lorraine Schlepper’s, and many of these vehicles were equipped as Panzerjäger’s. Twelve were also converted to carry the 105mm leFH18 howitzer and used as armoured artillery, this work was carried out by the firm Alkett. The following year another twelve were also converted and these had a slightly different fighting compartment. All of these vehicles were issued to the 21st panzer division and equipped panzer artillerie regiment 155.
