NotesThe Germans were impressed with the Semovente da 105/25 and in late 1943 they decided on building a Panzerjäger version which mounted a 75mm gun. Extra armour was added to provide greater protection. The gun was originally designed as a Flak weapon which allowed for greater velocity and made it quite effective as an anti-tank weapon. It was only built in small numbers and all of these were issued to a single tank destroyer battalion which served in northern Italy.
