Variants | Sd.Kfz 6/2: Mounting for a self-propelled 37mm anti-aircraft gun with 339 produced Sd.Kfz 6/3: Mounting a captured Russian 76.2mm field gun, only nine produced
|
Notes | The Sd.Kfz 6 was designed in two variants, the first was an artillery tractor to tow the 105mm leFH 18 field howitzer and the second was as an engineer vehicle. There is little between both variants except for the extra row of seats found in the engineer version.
As the war progressed the Sd.Kfz 6 was pressed into towing larger pieces and some were converted into self-propelled gun platforms. |
