Notes | The Kübelwagen was the German version of the jeep. It was a light car with good cross country performance and speed. Early version were field tested during the Polish campaign and found to be successful. They were issued to the troops from 1940 onwards and built in large numbers. They were also developed for use in a multitude of roles and served on every front until the end of the war. |
