Notes | The Modello 37 was considered to be the best Italian machine gun of the war, though it still had the same problem of oiling each cartridge before firing. It was fed via a tray and this along with the oil reservoir, attracted dust when used in action. It fired the same 8mm round as the Modello 35, which gave it good range. The Modello 35 and 37 served together on every front. |
