Notes | During the inter war period the IJA decided to modernise their type 38s and these modifications included a new breech and hollow trail which allowed for higher elevation and these made gave the weapon a longer range and faster rate of fire. These improved models were issued in the same as the standard version and saw action on all fronts. |
