Latvian Companies
Latvian infantry platoons were led by a lieutenant who was assisted by a platoon sergeant. The platoon was supposed to have ten man grenade launcher section but this was never initiated. The platoon contained three rifle sections with each commanded by a corporal and assisted by a lance corporal. Each section was based around a four man LMG team and eight man rifle squad.
