Norwegian Artillery

Norwegian light artillery units mostly equipped with mountain guns, field gun batteries were served by 75mm guns with larger 105mm guns held at army level. 120mm weapons were issued to static batteries. Many of these weapons were designed by foreign countries and these included Sweden, Germany, France and Belgium. The Norwegian firm Kongsberg did produce a small number of mountains guns, anti-aircraft guns and field pieces. The Norwegian army had no anti-tank guns and in some instances had to use field guns to fire on German armour.
