Notes | Based on the K89a rifle, the Wz.29 was the standard infantry rifle of the Polish army. After the war with Russia, Poland was awash with rifles, so in 1922 they decided on the Mauser 98 as the weapon of choice. This design went through a series of modifications until finally coming up with the Wz.29. |
