Notes | The Wz.28 light machine gun was a copy of the Browning automatic rifle. These weapons were built in Belgium and around 10.000 were sold to Poland. These machine guns were built to Polish modifications and these included a pistol grip, bi-pod and new sights. It was also chambered to fire the 7.92mm round. The Polish also acquired a licence to build their own and manage to produce around 14.000. The Wz.29 became the standard squad light machine gun and equipped both infantry and cavalry formations. |
