Notes | The Malaxa TIP UE was a light tractor built under licence in Romania. The vehicle was initially a Renault Chenillette tractor and these were built in large numbers for the French army. The Romanian army used them to tow another French export, the Schneider 47mm anti-tank gun and others saw use as supply tractors. By 1944 the war had taken its toll on these light vehicles and many were withdrawn back to Romania. Some were later converted to tow the German built 50mm anti-tank gun. |
