NotesThe R-1 was a CKD AH-IV tankette which 35 were purchased by the Romania army in 1936. It was subject to a number of modifications before they were bought and these included the omission of the cupola, thinner armour and different engine, all of which was done to keep the weight down. It used as a reconnaissance tank and served in mechanised cavalry brigades.
