Notes | The T-70 was developed as a replacement for the inadequate T-60. It was better armed then the T-60 and had a better off road performance. Production ceased in 1943 as the Soviets attempted to equip their armoured battalions with T-34s and light tanks were mainly relegated for duty in rear areas. |
