NotesThe SU-76M (Samokhodnaya Ustanovka) was an improved version of the standard SU-76 and featured many improvements. It changed from having a fully enclosed gun compartment to one with an open top, this gave the crew more room to operate the main gun. It had new and more powerful engines which erased the earlier problems. It was produced in large numbers and saw extensive service on all fronts.
