Notes | The 76.2mm M.1927 was a regimental gun which was first issued in 1928. It was used as an infantry support gun and was light enough to be manoeuvred by its crew. It was useful in taking out strong points and bunkers and was even issued with anti-tank rounds. It was issued at regimental level to infantry divisions and saw service against the Finns and later the Germans. |
