Notes | The M.1930 grenade launcher was fitted to a standard M.1891/30 rifle to provide infantry squads with a means to fire grenades a long distances. It was first issued in 1928 and many saw action during the war with Finland. The grenade was fired by a live round and could reach a range of 300m. It was not a popular weapon with the troops and was found a complicated and dangerous weapon and by 1941 it was gradually phased out. |
